Dose and administration
Administer orally with accurate drenching equipment, disposable syringe, stomach tube, or by mixing thoroughly into the feed. Base the dose on the heaviest animal in the herd. Calculate body weight using scales or a weigh-band.
ACTIVE CONSTITUENTS: OXFENDAZOLE 100 g/L
PROPERTIES: FARNAM® WORMA DRENCH®s effective against the following internal parasites:
Horses: Mature & immature stages of Bloodworm (Strongylus vulgaris); Large Strongyles or Redworms, including the
migratory tissue stages of S. edentatus; Large Roundworm, Pinworms, Small Redworms (Small strongyles or
Cyathostome species susceptible to oxfendazole), mature Stomach Worms (Habronema microstoma), as well as
the harmful migrating stages of the Bloodworm (S. vulgaris) (55-88% activity) with corresponding reduction in
arterial lesions.
Cattle: Dairy & Beef – Small Brown Stomach Worm (Ostertagia ostertagi) including inhibited fourth larval or hypobiotic
stages, Barber’s Pole Worm, Small Intestinal Worm, Stomach hairworm, Thin Necked Intestinal Worm,
Hookworm, Nodule Worm, Lungworm, and Cattle Tapeworm.
WORMA DRENCH in liquid form provides an economic and convenient method of controlling major internal Roundworms
in horses on studs or in large groups, as well as Roundworms and Tapeworms in cattle on studs, dairy herds, feedlots and
grazing stock.
DOSE AND ADMINISTRATION:

HORSES: Use 10 mL of WORMA DRENCH
per 100 kg body weight or as per table
CATTLE: Use 5 mL of WORMA DRENCH
per 100 kg body weight or as per table
WITHHOLDING PERIODS: (HORSES): MEAT: 28 days. (CATTLE): MILK: NIL; MEAT: DO
NOT ADMINISTER LESS THAN 8 DAYS BEFORE SLAUGHTER FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION.
